...was invaded by Rose Rosette Disease. Both of these roses joined the Great Rose Garden in the Sky shortly after. Losing two roses... I should count myself lucky. One of our city parks had hosted an All American Rose Test Site for the past 80 years. Every rose in that garden was dug and trashed and the test site now sits barren and boring. That's a nasty little problem.
I need to say all this happened about 3 years ago... and we can now see a rose poking up here and there in city gardens.
