I have had this daylily at least 20 years, 1st on the Gulf Coast and now in north East Texas. It is not in the best location here with shade, very sandy "soil" and invasive tree roots. A sporadic bloomer for me, with low bud count, beautiful when it blooms. A mid to late-mid season bloomer, a bit smaller than registered blooms and has never seen the registered scape height. Near black to burgundy color range here. I don't notice it being rust-prone.
