Thread OP
Spring Hill Florida
I just moved into a new place with a couple of different cacti in my yard and I'd like to be able to keep them alive. It has some type of gray scab or hole that concerns me any advice is appreciated.

Probably Cereus repandus, Peruvian Apple cactus.
The scabbing looks like some kind of physical damage.

The grey scabs are most likely scar tissue from some kind of physical damage or damage from sun burn.
These tend to grow well in Florida so I would say to just let it do its thing.
It is what it is!
