I am never sure which DA roses are no longer available.....I was looking for Brother Cadfael but just recently found out it is no longer being produced. Are there any others that have recently been discontinued?

I believe these are some of the roses that have been, or are being, retired in the US, but some may still continue to be sold in other regions. It's not a complete list by any means.

Brother Cadfadel is still listed on the David Austin website for the US.

Yes, it's listed on the link to the US website that I provided above, although it's currently out of stock, which would be normal for this time of year.

However, it has been retired from the UK website.

This bears pointing out... there's some confusion among rosarians because some of the roses being discontinued in the US are still available in Europe, and some being discontinued in Europe are still available in the US.

For example, Brother Cadfadel is still listed on the US site here:
https://www.davidaustinroses.c...

But it is listed as discontinued on the UK site here:
https://www.davidaustinroses.c...

Eumundi roses.

Not sure where they are located, Ausglobe is another name for it.

We have to realise that in the commercial world, any plant that is not selling and helping to fill the coffers, gets faded out. Thankfully the Internet does make it easier to search for other sources, nurseries, garden centers www. find that rose, etc. I do hope you succeed.

Mike. You appear to be another Rosarian. Are you a member of the ARS?

Sure, I've been a member, have exhibited at the ARS convention, and have published some desk research on shade "tolerant" roses in American Rose magazine. I've been growing many different classifications of roses for 25 years, but there are others on this forum with more knowledge and experience than mine. I also grow numerous perennials, and teach classes for professional landscapers on perennial identification and care. The gardens I grow are happily very diverse, but the anchor plants are the roses.

I ordered two 'Mortimer Sackler' climbing roses because they were a pretty pink, had nice fragrance, but most of all, were nearly thornless. I don't believe they are still promoting them because of all the bad press with opioids and the family getting wealthy on the backs of those addicted. I ordered them right before the story broke.

I am zone 10b, southern California. What David Austin rose would thrive in a large pot in more shade than sun?
Always seeking recommendations and advice. I welcome suggestions for heat loving roses with great scent, disease resistance, and long vase life.

According to my notes, Roald Dahl is the only Austin that is listed as both thriving in pots/containers AND in shady areas. It also has the added benefit of thriving in hot climates such as So CA. These notes were taken from one of their catalogs a couple of years ago.

I just noticed that it also appears in their "very few thorns" list!
