Nothing special, I think I got the original bulbs at WalMart. But they seem to really like it here because from one bulb I have dozens now. I found out they like really rich soil so I put in a scoop of manure in planting hole. I plant them out in early May, take them inside after they have died back from frost in October. I'd love to get a couple of those deeply scalloped one (Esculata?) and the black leaved ones but don't see them offered here yet.
