I have hot lips and its a growing and blooming power house. My amethyst lips is in a three gallon pot and hardly blooms and has remained small for two years. Is amethyst just not as good a plant as hot lips? I've left it alone and it hasn't really done much of anything on its own.

We test grew this one for two years, and never were satisfied with the flower count or the habit. Nice flower color, but that alone is not enough.
