I bought these beautiful mums at my local hardware store in the outdoor plant area, they are I suspect Easter decor leftovers, marked down to $4. The prettiest mum I've ever seen I believe. The blooms are a good 3, maybe 4 inches across. If I plant these out in the garden will they return next year? Zone 5 to 6 ish winters. Any tips on getting this to live long term in my garden would be appreciated.
There are not any tags/stickers, no id at all on the pot anywhere unfortunately; nothing. None of the pots had anything on them. There are 3 different ones in the same pot, planted together, the pink one is the specific one I want to keep for sure. I suspect I would need to separate them as they'd crowd eachother out of their space if I planted them together.

I've had what they call florist mums survive winter for me before. Put them in a warm spot in your garden and mulch them good. Keep the mulch off the crown a bit so they don't rot but keep it close. After that just treat them like all new plants and cross your fingers and toes and hope that it pays off and they come back. It can be hit and miss but worth trying.
