I have this plant growing in my flower bed, actually there are two so I think this is something I would have put seeds in the ground. I just don't remember as it has been a while. Please help me with the identification, thanks

Sue, thanks for the help, I don't think I would have planted that type of seed. Thanks again.

Oenothera of some kind, I think.

The nicotiana at my house is blooming. The oenothera at my house is much larger...

Oenothera would still be my guess.

When did you sow the seed?

Nicotiana is sticky, stinky and can make your hands numb.

It looks like Oenothera to me too.

Lucy, Stone, Janine, my memory is slow, once I looked up Oenotherea and saw it was the Primrose, I remembered that's what I planted. Thanks for helping an old gardener remember.
