I made a 2x4ftx18in raised bed box and will put in a few tomatoes plants and beet seeds and maybe something else. I have an old bag of cedar chips used for small animal bedding from years ago. Can I use them as mulch? Bed is in full NE TN sun. Thanks!

I've never used cedar, but I see no reason it would not be an adequate mulch.
