Does anyone know what berry this is or what plant makes this berry?

I agree - to me it looks like garlic bulbils.

he or she may just being trying to id from a photo, maybe they don't have the plant actually with them? Because I'd think the scent would do it I never thought of that looking like a berry though, when I see them in my garden.
