I pull lots of weeds, so I'm pretty familiar with most of the weeds around here (St Louis area). But I don't recognize this guy. Can anyone identify him for me?
Pictures are from a few days ago. Situation is a wooded portion of my yard adjacent to the house. Plant is quite small, only 6 inches tall. But it appears to be coming up in a cluster of stems. For what it's worth, the leaf has a velvety feel.
Thanks in advance.
