I bought a packet of 'Wild flower' seeds and sprinkled them in a specific spot...after weeks of growing what came up aren't flowers. They are over 4ft tall now. Are they weeds?
It reminds me of Dog Fennel (Eupatorium capillifolium). Most consider it a weed. We used to have it pop up occasionally when we lived in the Daytona Beach/Port Orange area!
Oops, I should have enlarged the photo, especially since my eyesight isn't what it used to be. It does look like the foliage of Cosmos which may be included in some Wildflower seed mix.
