Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Waggle Dance')

I received Waggle Dance as a bonus from Rich Howard in August 2021.
It started off with four fans. By April 2022, WD was up to 5 fans. That summer, WD bloomed from July 9-26 with 22 blooms. By October, it was up to seven fans and held steady with seven fans this April 2023.

I like the flower, it's a strong grower so far and the blooms are very pleasant. There's a nice clear appliqué and I like the contrast with the dark purple eye. So far, the scapes have not been very tall and it hasn't reached the listed bud count. But it's still pretty new.

I have only had this plant for a couple years, but it is doing well. It has increased to 5 fans and is a lovely bloom, although the scape is not as tall as expected.

2023 update…Waggle Dance didn't do as well as last year this season, blooming from July 6-21 with 14 flowers. It also lost a fan to end at 6.
