Hi everyone,

Are there any comprehensive collections of hardy hibiscus out there? It seems as if Missouri Botanic Gardens has a collection; and as for commercial sources, Sooner Plant Farm surprised me by carrying lots and lots of varieties. But not "Anne Arundel" (R. Darby), the one I am looking for!

I'm also intrigued by the French introduction "Carousel Pink Passion", which has an uphill battle in this country with all the Walter's / Fleming / Texas cultivars inundating the market. It has that big-flowers-on-a-stalk look, kind of like lollipops.

I wish I knew also about all the different types and how they differ.
I would never be able to tell apart your 'Carousel Pink Passion' say compared to 'Edge of Night' or 'Evening Rose'. Without seeing them in person to see the different attributes, the photos do look very similar. Hot pink with dark leaves. Beyond that, I know nothing about what separates them. Thumbs up

Drooling I don't have anything to contribute other than to say those are gorgeous and I hope to see them somewhere so I can buy one! Lovey dubby

I'd love to have Turn of the Century, and Cherry Cheesecake, but cannot find them anywhere. I have never heard of Carousel Pink Passion but id does remind me of Summer in Paradise.
