A beautiful Tet dormant bought from the hybridizer a number of years ago, performs much better in MI than in TX. I don't baby the fans, don't fertilize in MI, although I know the hybridizer did. I have never seen the registered bud count or branching in TX or MI. MI fans were split last year and the base plant hasn't recovered although I broke off a scape this year. The split plant is in a sunnier location and is doing well. Blooms mid-season in TX when it blooms. Relative to the rest of my plants it blooms late-mid in MI last year 23 Jul and the split hasn't bloomed yet this year although it has scaped. Pod fertile as I have bloomed seedlings.
Don't recall using the pollen--will correct this later if I have used the pollen.

Hard to capture that bluish eye, but it can be startling earlier in the morning. Modest size in bloom and height.
