Tuxedo Whiskers has done pretty well.it's a pretty plant with fairly reliable bloom. I love the color! I haven't had it for long, it was planted Spring 2021 and by Fall, had 6 fans. It lost two fans over the Winter, down to four but bloomed nicely from July 1-20 with at least 14 blooms. It picked up 2 fans again and by this Spring was up to 7. I don't have the new info yet on how this plant did in 2023 but I will check back in this Fall with all the news. I do see that it bloomed slightly shorter, from July 2-18 but I caught 30 blooms and possibly more so almost double the flower production.

This plant is still blooming with 115 degree heat indexes!?!? I really like this cultivar and it is pretty sunfast here so far. Relatively new plant but it has 'shown' me enough to know it will stay around for a good while! Since new (and our area in 'extreme drought' ) I haven't worried about bc…. Survival is big right now…. For the cultivar AND the gardener!!!!!
