On my swap list, there's a blue trash can at the far right, after the edit "pencil" symbol.

There is a new-ish "mass delete tool" now, which is useful if you have a lot of items you entered one year but won't have again. There's a link to get to it at the bottom of your swap list. You can check off as many things as you want to delete, but no trash can symbol is involved.

Lisa,
If I'm correct, you're seeing this on the actual swap page.

The check mark means that you have claimed the item. The trash can is if you change your mind and want to release 5he item back to the swap pool. Keep in mind that if you do this, you won't get your ticket back.

I have the same things like last year, different kinds of Hostas, but because of the fear that I can also 'share' my weeds with you, I rather not bring anything. Hopefully I can clean up next year and share my Hosta collection. And maybe also Hellebores. And Chinese orchids.
