Quandary is a vigorous grower in my Zone 5b garden, multiplying from a bonus 1+ fans in 2020 to 8 fans this year. Definitely hasn't gotten as tall as its registered height. It's Distinctive - I love the way it stands out in the garden!

That's a nice bonus, Deb! I LOVE this daylily. I agree that it multiplies well, especially with enriched soil. It's in its 3rd year with me. The second year ('22) it started blooming June 4th, which is pretty early:

And a few days later...

I find the narrow petals and symmetry of the blooms very graceful. Well-branched, wiry scapes are my cup of tea for good presentation. Pollen is very fertile; pod challenging here.

Rebloom is strong and instant, if I remember correctly- although I can't find my notes or any dedicated images of it at the moment.

And then when it's gone, it's gone. My clump didn't have good budcount this year. It didn't get fertillized and I think it wants dividing already.
