Again this year we have a generous donation from our friend @bluespiral, who has provided a number of packets from the not too distant past, mostly 2017-2021, and mostly commercial, for distribution to interested swap members only. This offer is not related to other seeds from Karen which may be offered here and won't affect or be affected by those offers.
There are too many to list, so if you are interested in receiving a selection of older seeds that might be just what you are looking for, you need to edit your entry in the "wish list" thread, or add a wish list if you haven't yet.
You can be as specific as you want to be, but you can also cast a wide net. If you are interested in a particular genus, color, style or purpose for seeds you receive, you can be very general. The broader the list, the greater your chance of receiving seeds.

For instance, my wish list would be edited like this:

"For purposes of Karen's seed giveaway, I'm interested in:
Abutilons
Cuphea shumannii
White Flowers
Container Vegetables"

There's a pretty good chance there is something for me in there in general, if not specifically.

That's all you have to do. If it's in the box, it's yours.

Karen, I still hope that you are able to find joy and peace in your gardening. Thank you for sharing.

Wish lists are filling up. I want to have Karen's older seeds sorted through and assigned to members before this year's swap starts. Any member, old or new, who hasn't yet posted a list, or anyone who wants to amend their current wish list can do so without affecting those seeds until November 10. I'll print out the wish lists after that and dive in.

A couple of hints for seed swap members. I've started to look into the Big Box of Seeds, and I'm seeing two categories that are underrepresented in the wish lists.

Here's a little encouragement to think inside the box. There appear to be a fairly large number of Lychnis/Silene seeds, both traded and commercial. If you don't already have some on your list and think you might like to try one, edit your wish list accordingly. The same applies to Tropaeolum (Nasturtium) seeds.

Also, I may list a few next week that no one has touched on and let folks choose from that list. I would like to find as many homes as I can for these seeds while there is still a chance they will germinate.

Dug out my seed box. Working on lists. Cups and plates of seeds are drying here and there - most of them labeled.

Someone wants purple ruella. I searched how to gather Ruella seeds. There are large plantings of purple Ruella by the sidewalk. I will try to beat the landscapers to the seed heads while walking Chanel. They trim everything so aggressively, I didn't realize a nearby hedge was hibiscus because I never saw blooms.

I rescued a new canine companion, Chanel the Gentle Golden Retriever. She is the self appointed therapy dog for the neighborhood. I got a long lead for the patio. Her new favorite thing is "going for a sit" late at night/early in the morning. She isn't a barker, so she doesn't bother the neighbors.

Golden's are the kindest creatures.

She is so sweet. I am so grateful to have a canine companion again. I brought her to a dog park to run around and make doggie friends. She stayed by the benches meeting the people. If a dog sniffed her, she sniffed her/him back, but she was otherwise uninterested.

She is sleeping by my chair right now.
