Wellllll.......how'd it go?

Newest members to our seed family, I hope that you had fun and figured out how it works okay. It can be daunting the very first night or two, especially with so many seeds 'flying off the shelves' so to speak, but it will come to you if it hasn't already. If you still have any questions after your first jump into the deep end of seed swapping in here, please don't hesitate to let me know! I'm happy to help, as are our AMAZING veteran swappers. I'm sure you've already noticed that, though. ;)

Tomorrow is another night with more tickets to spend. I don't know about you guys, but I'm chompin' at the bit, here!

I am happy. Only missed out on pawpaw seeds that I really wanted. Plus I sold enough to get an extra dib, so I'm happy!

I have paw paw seeds listed ! I also have several items on stand by to replenish if i run out.

Im not sure how you set up your wish list but i usully go back the night before a swap and check for multiple listing of the same item and wishlist them all so that if 1 pesons " sells out" i have back up options. I believe 3 swappers had paw paws listed.

So…maybe I got the seeds I put dibs on after all…I noticed it saying 0 later, but my dibs list says I used the 4 tickets…I'm new…this was fun! Is the time for tmro night the same or does that vary?

I was impatiently refreshing my screen all the way up to 6:58. Then a cooking emergency, and next I know it's 7:08. Oh well, still got everything I wanted and it sounds like everything went smoothly unlike a few past swaps). Thanks DnD for hosting, and of course our wonderful Dave for all his work in keeping us seed swap addicts hooked up.

Welcome! The full list can be a lot to double check but if you have items you really want, i recommend at least viewing the full list and searching items that are on the top of your want list. I have noticed theirs a lot of items listed from different swappers and they all have different amounts of wish listed even when they are the same item.

Another tip is to not un wish list items because they are at 0 quantity. Swappers will add more packs mid swap. So just set the "exclude zero quantity" option but keep all your items wish listed. I used to delete items mid swap but i learned lol

That was a good first night! Got the stuff on my wish list so I'm happy! Hope everyone got some good stuff they wanted.

Looks like you got 4 things, yes? A easy way to tell is to go to the main page for this swap, where you click on the full list of items or your wishlist. Under those will be two more links. One says "view your bought items" the other "view your sold items". When the swap ends, there will be another link "view your final send list" or something like that.

Ok, another tip. Before the next night's swapping begins, click on "view recent events", then click "exclude dibs". This way you can see anything people add after the swap begins.

No one took my Pawpaws either. I also have a 2023 wild collected pack I can add if someone would rather not have cultivar seeds.

The tickets are doled out the same time every night, but you can place dibs any time that you have tickets. For instance, someone might dib on your items later tonight and that might earn you an extra ticket that you can use any time (you could use it at 2am, if you wanted). The tickets don't expire until the end of the swap, so if you were busy all day tomorrow and tomorrow night, you could still use those tickets the following day or so. I hope that helps!

I absolutely agree with Olivia A.
I just added another Lauren's Grape Poppy, Andromeda Lima Bean, Stevia and something else as they were already gone. If I have extra, and people want them, just let me know. Those 3 I have extra of for sure! Maybe others as well. 😊

Oh, boy, do I know that feeling too well! This is the first year that I am staying focused on my list! (I'm making sure that I get a few things for my daughter to help me grow at home and some things my school can use for their rain garden, so it's helping me stay focused. When's it's just me, I get easily distracted by pretty listings as I scroll through what other people dibbed on. )

I am going through and adding packs as we speak lol. Like ladyreneer said, if anyone sees something of mine and its a zero reach out and i may be able to add more if its something from my garden. I only add a few packs of each at a time.

I just put on more butterhead lettuce and im looking for my varegated kiss me over the garden gate. I know i had a small harvest of them so i may only have enough for 1 more pack if im lucky.

My stevia is just now blooming so i wasn't able to get seeds from mine yet but theirs always for next year lol.
