Well, my idea about when folks would drop out was off, but only 12 completed the evening.
@theflowerlady is closest and the winner.
We lost 5 in the first 20 minutes. A couple with three children was in our group. Why, parents? Anyway, the lights at the entrance were very bright and you could not see beyond the innocuous welcome sign and the little boy, nine or so, decided he could see monsters in the woods beyond, waiting for him. He cried, screamed, tried to run back to the parking area, got the two little girls scared and eventually caused the whole family to leave.
We lost 2 more when we came to a bend in the river and an empty kayak.
I had a blast and the rest of our group did too. My favorite part was the chainsaw wielding clowns who chased us. The movie was a chance to rest because everyone just kind of ran down the haunted trail. Tame stuff.
