It is big and beautiful here with beautiful with lovely shade of red. It has tall strong scapes but is not a fast increaser here.

Planted this one in fall of 2014 and divided it 2/3 years ago as it was a huge clump, has not taken off yet and will probably be moved to another location as I am starting to downsize
Has a nice deep red color that holds up well to our July August weather. Scapes usually get to or close to registered height, mine leans a little because of the overhang on the house ( needs full sun to me ) is impressive at clump strength in bloom

I have this plant for several years now and it bloomed every season with good opened and big bright red blooms. It has always clear color, no stipples, it does not grow so fast, but it is strong and has tall scapes. A really garden worth solitaire plant!

This plant is pretty newly acquired and was in its' first year last season, but it did show off a few blooms. This plant was 'recommended' to me, so I usually follow through when recommended! I can't comment on stats as not 'settled', but it is a beautiful red with no spotting.

It definitely likes its full-sun location here. Bright red, well budded. I remember the scapes as strong. Plant is a bit dominating (have to trim some foliage). Increase hasn't been bad here, but at any rate, it's a good clump now in a few years.

Omega Red hasn't performed too well for me despite getting full sun and more water than any of my other daylilies. It is in a raised section of my flagpole bed and this bed is watered because of the annuals that I plant in it each year. The soil isn't the greatest so that probably contributed to poor performance. I haven't been diligent about fertilizing, but the last two years, I've been doing more fertilizing.

I got it in 2015 and this year I divided it, put the 20 or so fans in pots to grow for a month or so, and then put them back in the same spot in the flagpole area. The leaves had died back to almost nothing, but they recovered nicely.

Branching and bud count are just so-so for me. Branching is usually 2-way, sometimes 3, with a bud count of 10-12. I am sure these stats would improve if it received better care. Stats in the database are 5 way branching with 30 buds.

Omega Red blooms throughout the month of July in my zone 6b garden. I have not seen rust on it and the blooms are usually free of spots. The scapes are sturdy, but it has never reached the 53" registered height. When I get some space in another part of my garden, I fully expect this one to do better.
