This is a new plant for me. I originally ordered it from Northern Lights in 2022 but when Spring rolled around, they didn't have enough of it to sell. So I reordered it it 2023 and this year, I got one fan which was planted in May in the Lower Fence Bed

It bloomed from June 27 to July 14, with at least 6 blooms, possibly more while I was away a few days. By October, it was up to two fans.

I'm pleased that it increased, as I have had trouble in the past with Emmerich plants taking a long time to establish and increase here. Clearly, that was a problem for Northern Lights, as they had to retract a sale. My Daylily club, NEDS was supposed to be auctioning mostly Emmerich plants from a club buy at the annual auction this summer, however the plants hadn't grown enough to dig up and auction away pieces. So clearly this is not just a problem in my yard. Still, given three or four years to establish, they usually start producing nicely, one must simply be patient.

The flowers this summer on Promise of Peace were just alright. The scape was very short and most of the flowers were slightly crabbed looking. I assume it's because it was a brand new plant and it will look better in subsequent years. The coloring is delicate and pretty.

Quite a departure from what Karol's introductions but a pretty flower which delicant colors. It can have good and mediocre days but more good than bad and normally reblooms too with strong scapes that hold the flowers above the foliage
