I think it all started when the French convinced Americans they should drink water out of a bottle instead of the tap. I'm still alive and I was raised on tap water, but I do have six toes on one foot and can swivel my head like and owl!

If you do the research, it's been proved many times that tap water in almost ALL areas of the US is cleaner and healthier than water bottled in plastic. It's a corporate mind-game that's convinced people tap water isn't clean. When you see the chemicals that leach out of a plastic bottle, you'll never drink bottled water again. It's pay and pay again: our tax dollars pay to give us safe, clean water but we pay for bottled water. And yes, I too grew up on tap water; I have 6 toes and i can wiggle my ears.
