I got a double fan of Ruby Locket in May 2017 and by 2019 it was 9 fans strong. With that said though, it is not planted in the best of places as it is only about 15 feet away from a maple tree.
Ruby Locket hasn't reached the 31-35 bud count or the 4-way branching. I am sure the roots of the maple have interfered with the height and performance of the daylilies in that section of the garden.
This picture was taken at 6am and Ruby Locket is opening up and blooms are fully open before 8am. It blooms almost the whole month of June in my 6b (new 7a) zone.
In 2023, Ruby Locket still hadn't reached the registered 30" height, which I'm sure is because of the tree roots. But it is a nice clump and has lovely blooms. I've not seen rust on it.
