Have you ever thought about using those big deep plastic tubs that TS sells for horses to drink out of? Would that be something you could use to have a raised bed effect, plus you can grow a lot of stuff in those. My friend Barb has a bunch of them and grows veg and herbs in them and they look terrific. Just a thought. You could use some of that free mulch to fill one and top it off with a good soil mix. I love her garden and it's so easy to walk around the tubs and pick tomatoes or whatever.

Thanks for the suggestion sweetie! Those tubs are pretty expensive and my veg isn't set up for that sort of thing. But it's something to keep in mind for other parts of the garden.
