I've looked at three different sources that list "early" (Champlain), "midseason" (Adelman), and "late" (Hollingsworth) as the blooming time for Ada Niva. So many peony descriptions in regard to height and blooming period seem to simply use some stock descriptions (with the height and stem strength often being off). But I have never encountered so much variance in blooming time. Does anyone have experience with this peony (and perhaps could also comment on additional factors, comparing it perhaps to other red Japanese)? Hollingsworth seems to be franker in regard to factors such as stem strength.
