Strange coincidence that I just happened to stumble across this today, less than an hour after posting!

It was never that white for me in Massachusetts or New Hampshire, but it always was one of my best northern rebloomers, best minis and a great plant. We were routinely sold out.

Not only is it great itself, with impeccable plant habits and rapid increase, but it is also a really good breeder.

Great. I'm following the hybridizer. No pressure. Smiling

Fortunately, it has been a good plant for me, even though I have moved it twice now, continuing to try to put it in a better and better location. It is pretty white for me. It has a great history of coming back to rebloom for me later in the summer. It took last year off, but a lot of plants did because of, well, snow in April and drought in May.

Interestingly, I can't say it's my best Huben rebloomer. Magenta Kisses has bloomed continuously some summers, and always reblooms if it does take a week or so off. Accentuate the Green and But I Repeat Myself also rebloom at least as well. But then again, they have all been in a better locations. When Vanilla Stella settles in to it's new location, maybe it will give Magenta Kisses a run for its money.

I do love this little plant. It has been a great bloomer for me and is pretty white, most of the time. Well, vanilla is actually pretty accurate as a description. One thing I've noticed, the foliage on mine is often a paler green than any other foliage in the garden, but it seems to be natural to the plant and not a deficiency.

Since being planted in October 2020, VS has quickly formed a nice clump that blooms for a long time. I am partial to white Daylilies and this one is simple but lovely. It likes its spot! Last year, it bloomed from June 22- August 23, an excellent run.
