This daylily is pretty new to me. But she did flower this summer, so here is the info.

I got She's Got the Look from Northern Lights in May of 2022, where she was planted in the new Back Bed. By October, there were four fans.

This summer, SGTL flowered from July 6-19 with 15 blooms…a very solid showing for the first year of bloom! She was definitely a Midseason plant this year. She ended the season with the same 4 fans.

It's a very intriguing flower, an extreme edge no eye. The dark pink edge on the almost white flower is very striking. It doesn't look like any other flower in the garden, which I love. It was pretty short this summer but so were a lot of plants. I expect her to be taller next year.

@Zoia Have you seen the flower just as it was opening? I wonder if there is more colour in the centre of the petals that then fades when sunlight strikes them.

The earliest photo I have is taken at 7:52 am and you can sort of see one flower partially open. But I think the color is pretty consistent from morning through afternoon.

That is what I have observed in the past as well. A consistently pigmented and striking ENE with a remarkably pale base color, and a pleasingly form. Not an EMO, but worth the wait.

I was disappointed that SGTL succumbed to the freeze-thaw extinction event last winter. The perils of pot culture! Rolling my eyes. She did okay for four years until a crazy set of swings nixed her. She might have prevailed as a clump in the ground.
