I also obtained 'Stars and Stripes Forever' from Northern Lights Daylilies, which arrived to my gardens in May of 2023. It began blooming on the 23rd of June, barely a month after having received it. Despite being a 'tiny' plant (but several fans) it put up six scapes and started cranking out flowers.

July ...
For its very first year in the gardens, I think it gave a respectable performance by flowering for two weeks. It did not have rebloom scapes, though it is noted for rebloom; but being so young a plant, I did not expect to see it bloom its first year at all. I would give it credit for the overall effort, and the consistency with which it flowered.
The buds were large and the blooms were within the 6.5-inch range, and held up well throughout the entire day. Moreover, there was no spotting or bleeding in the rain. The scapes were shorter than noted, but it was first-year, an immature plant... 'and' last year we were plagued by poor weather and weeks of heavy smoke from the wildfires in Canada ... many daylilies under-performed last year.
No rust here (not usually a problem in our zone) and I am really looking forward to seeing how it does this year, with a stronger and larger, more mature plant. So far, very pleased with it.
