My very first purchase was a couple of pots labeled 'blue vision' hosta. I noticed some variegated side shoots so separated them just for the heck of it for the one pot.

Here is what they look like this year. Thumb of 2013-06-23/Jewell/2829ec
Here is what the undivided plants look like.Thumb of 2013-06-23/Jewell/786355
You can see that one of the leaves has a faint outline of the variegation. Thumb of 2013-06-23/Jewell/3c7779The green plant is slug resistant and the variegated ones are more prone to slug damage.

Are these really 'blue vision' or were they mismarked. Confused Just have been wondering. Love the way these have really taken off, and become quite sizable plants Hurray!

Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Mat.6:28-29

My guess would be the variegated one came from a seed that dropped down in the pot and they are 2 different plants.
Thanks, Freda (Blossom)

Thanks all! It is pretty and we will just wait and see if it remains nicely variegated. I tip my hat to you. Thumbs up
