I have a few that are just mushy. Do you cut them back? Also do you add a slow release fertilizer to pots? Is Mini Skirt the Hosta of the Year for 2024? I think I need it

I just let them be, new growth will emerge.
Yes it is The American Hosta of the year.
I do not do containers, but think that would be a good idea, and would not harm it.

Same as RJ I just leave them alone. I do not feed them much , just some fish fertilizer in the Spring.
