2-2.5m tall camelias (6 in total) have been established for 20 years. Levelling out the garden bed they were planted in and couldn't bare to cut them down and bin them, would rather give to someone. Are they easy to move and replant, what is the best method? Thanks

I would engage a camellia society chapter to see if they can assist. They will have a large root system now: http://camelliasaustralia.com....

If it were me... I'd be landscaping around the trees to keep them in place. They're stunning and would be a shame to lose them.

They would need at least a 3' rootball, each, to possibly survive. That would be extremely heavy, needing heavy equipment. Unfortunately it's keep and modify plans or cut and bin.
