Salix caprea, lives 15 to 30 yrs, it is considered invasive, has naturalized where it grows; does create heavy pollen in the Spring; has wandering roots that seek moisture, but are good for low lying soggy areas, but will clog drains and waterways; it is from 12' to 25' tall, and 8' to 15' wide, can be pruned heavily and probably should be pruned very close to the ground every few years; used for ornamental cuttings. Will grow readily from a cut twig... Welcome! it sounds like a very typical salix - willow. The choice is yours!
So many roads to take, choices to make, and laughs to share!
