Hi there,

I have a flowerbed on the side of my house that faces due Northwest. It receives shade in the morning and full sun in the afternoon. For the past few years I've been wrapping my brain around what to plant in the bed, so I figured I'd ask here. I love flowering shrubs, so a compact flowering shrub that stays around 3-4 feet tall and wide would be perfect for that area. Our native soil has a high clay content and is somewhat silty. Does anybody have any recommendations or ideas for what to plant in the bed?

Thank you so much!
