I sometimes wonder if we started to do something really gross, would it spark our lazy loved ones into picking up after themselves? Like leave sweaty bras on the dining room table. "Ewww... Mom! Gross!!"

Not to sound passive aggressive, I tried that with one of kid1s hairballs she left on the bath counter. I set it on her nightstand. I think it's still there. Gross.

So yes, a self cleaning feature would be great! Speaking of cleaning I'm doing so today as well and then it's time to sew!
