Daylily (Hemerocallis 'My Friend Kammy')

I bought My Friend Kammy from Pat Ball in the Fall of 2020.
In 2021, MFK bloomed from June 24-July 8th with 3 flowers. At least I could positively ID the plant…by October, there were 4 fans.
In 2022, MFK bloomed from June 30- July 24 with at least 17 blooms counted. It ended the season with the same four fans.
In 2023, MFK bloomed July 1-22, with only 8 blooms counted. Once again, she ended the season with the same four fans.

So, I really like the flower but I wouldn't say that the plant has done amazingly well. It is doing ok, there is a flowering period every season, but there has been no increase in fan counts yet. It seems to be hanging in there and that's about it. I also never see more than a single bloom at a time.

The flower is very striking. I like the color contrasts and it's usually unblemished by spotting. I would just like more of them.

I picked up My Friend Kammy in person at Blue Ridge Daylilies. It has bloomed beautifully every year since I purchased it and has increased well…4 fans received in 2019 increased to almost 20 fans last summer. It never has difficulty opening and the blooms are always clear. The pink color is not one I have a lot of, so it will definitely be staying in my garden for a long time.
