Well I have an MTB in bloom, but it's down to 25 degrees this morning so I'm not sure what will be left of it when the sun comes up. At least I have a bloom, also have a bud forming on Ridge Crest. It's early here for this, but it is what it is.

This iris was given to me as Lemon Tart. I'm sure it's not an accurate ID though. It's listed as a BB, and this is definitely not that tall. It will probably be taking a hike after this season.

We have a frost warning tonight ,too.
I hope it will not materialize in my iris garden.I have a lot of bloom stalks appearing,even on some that I haven't seen bloom in a while.

In spite of the cold night, Unwritten opened today. It was nice and sunny through the day.

Several of my TB's near the house are sending up a bloom stalk already.

Well ,no frost after all .There is a warming trend with temps headed towards the 80's over the next several days.
Nothing else blooming yet after my first TB bloom.However,I think it is going to be a good bloom season.There are lots of bloom stalks appearing

That is a very good sign!

This astonishes me, but it's not the first time you had TBs come up earlier than mine even tho I'm 6a - so weird.
