Lots of vegetables can be grown in containers - many have varieties that have been specifically developed for that purpose. Is there anything you are particularly interested in growing?

Keep in your mind how large the plant will be when fully grown - most vegs need at minimum a 5 gal pot, or a 19"hi x 19" wide pot. Plant the vegs you want to be eating

I think the kale should do fine in containers; turnips and collards are probably going to need quite a bit of room, with containers something like Kat described above.
