I am wondering if the plant pictured is actually xSedeveria 'Sorrento' and not xGraptosedum 'Bronze'. Here are our entries for those two plants, to compare with other photos:

Sedeveria (XSedeveria Sorrento™)
Graptosedum (XGraptosedum 'Bronze')

I would imagine this plant has flowered in the years since the photo was taken (2018) and the flowers would be pretty definitive in resolving the two alternatives.

Maybe that information is available, and if so it would nail this down.

I am not much of an expert on these intergeneric hybrids, and in this case the color seems wildly variable for Sorrento at least. I would like to invite @Castello_decorum to comment about the identification question here.

Thank You!

A few things that I would like to point out.
1. The greenish coloring of the leaves is a trait that 'Sorrento' has. 'Bronze' never gets those green undertones. Even when grown in low lights, it still remains a light bluish green
2. The plant in the picture has leaves that are the wrong shape for 'Bronze'. 'Bronze' has short and rounded leaves. The plant in the photo has longer leaves.
3. The plant in the picture also lacks farina on the leaves. 'Bronze' has farina.

Compare the image above to:

There are a few other images that should be switched. For example:

In my humble opinion. Smiling

That is very helpful. Thank you for all those details and the careful explanation.

I will propose the original image at the top of this thread be moved right now.

Tagging @purpleinopp here since her plant and images are being discussed in this thread. I'm sure Tiffany will weigh in if she has any comments to add.

All of what you said makes sense. I am still a bit confused because of the flowers in that last picture, which do not seem to be spreading like the Grapto and Sedum parents (see example in original post). Maybe that relates to maturity? In any case the stamens are recurved, which is a Grapto (and xGs) trait, and that alone would nudge these plants toward another listing.

Thanks for the tag, Baja. Whatever y'all decide is good with me. I can't say for sure that I haven't mixed up the plants after moving them around countless times from their originally labeled pots. The way they change SO MUCH with the passing seasons, varying exposures, and my moving them around, they're too hard to keep track of for me. Blooming has been so rare for ether.

Those labels were from catuscollection.com, so are naturally suspect due to their history of mislabeling plants. Not that they have done this on purpose, or with any malice, but we have all seen examples and know to be suspicious of their labeling.
The golden rule: Do to others only that which you would have done to you.
