I just got Statuesque in 2022, so it has not reached its full height of 5 feet and I don't have a ton of pictures yet. However, I am hoping for some really tall scapes this year. The blooms were wonderful last year and even though it is just a plain yellow self, each bloom seemed perfect. Branching and bud count looks good in the picture, although I did not count those.

This is one of those "oldie but goodie" daylilies. I received more than a double fan, so it is a small clump already and I am impressed with its performance. It bloomed from late June thru mid-July last year and am hoping it will bloom longer this year.

It is listed as an extended bloomer (blooms open longer than 16 hours). Even though I don't have pictures from late in the day, it is an EMO (early morning opener) and is fully open by 6am here, so it probably is open until dark at least. Makes sense that an EMO and extended bloomer would go hand-in-hand, but I've never really thought about it before.

There is no bloom size listed in the specs here, but the ADS database lists it as 3", so I've proposed an update to the data on this site. I prefer daylilies with a good height to bloom size ratio, but with Statuesque, I don't mind that it is a small bloom on a tall scape.

Funny how one's tastes change over the years. With all the fancy daylilies registered, I never thought I would like a little yellow daylily so much. But the airy quality of these small yellow blooms on a tall scape appeals to me now.

I have a lot of little yellow daylilies, and I love them all. Statuesque looks as if it has the perfect name.
