We planted a row of 15 podocarpus ten weeks ago. All were doing well with one exception of a branch dying back on one. After removing the dead branch that shrub is filling out. I now see that another shrub has an issue- large middle branch losing color. Am I watering too much or not enough. The nursery guy who planted said the more we water the faster they grow. We have sandy soil. Is he correct? Why would a center branch all of a sudden look like it's dying? We water every other day unless it's rained heavily. I live in Marion County Florida
