I'm here - thanks Lynn for the heads up. I would be thrilled to be a part of a Canadian gardening forum, as nice though it is to be in touch with folks from all over the world, it's a bit disheartening to not be able to buy and trade plants from different places.

Jacki, Lee Anne, don't the two of you know some more Canadians to show interest?

You might want to contact mcash70. She is in British Columbia and I bet she would be interested in a Canadian forum. She will be off the computer for a couple days but I am sure she will respond when she is able.

Until a new forum is created, I hope you will right at home on either the Northern Gardening or the Pacific Coast Gardening forums.

yup...we'll be milling around aimlessly like Canucks tend to do or pretending to be Arizonians or Californians when winter is upon us and we crave a bit of warmth.

I would like to be part of a Canadian Gardeners group.
It is useful for organizing trades as it is awkward to get a sanitary certificate to trade with US
participants.

We can be Northern Gardeners---but need the understanding that we will swap seeds
with other Canadians.

And PLEASE! let this be a GARDENING forum, and not what the DG Canadian gardening forum became!

Stay active and encourage others to stay on topic. I don't know what you mean about the other forum, but I know that we can keep this an active site focused on gardening if we want to!
