Here's my Niobe. This one is new to me this year, so she's not as showy as I hope she'll be next year, but still, I'm happy.

It's one I used to grow. Give it a few years and you'll like it. The color varied a lot for me depending on the temp, but it was always lovely in full bloom. Mine died from wilt.

Thank you, Susan, for the heads up on the color variation. I've planted several new clems this year and look forward to their increasing bloom and size.

Mine is dark red like Boojum's. It gets a lot of shade so it hardly fades at all. It was it's best year this year and I didn't photo it. Sad

The spiders and mosquitos are so bad here I don't dare go out much. I am highly allergic.

It's so hot here most of my clems are just sulking. I do have one that's blooming again, and I'll get a photo and post it. I sure do hope they perk up with some cooler weather. Rooguchi hasn't stopped blooming yet, but it's looking a little tired in all the heat.
