I'm back. Boy that was brutal, it's about 90° out right now. Sad
But I got a few, not very good though, the sun was way to intense. It is washing out the colors and watermarkings.
Oh well, here I go:

Boys did Kevin give this one an appropriate name.

One of my very favorite semps

The next 6 semps seems to have watermarks year round.

Opps, took me forever to put this post together. Hilarious!
You guys make me blush *Blush*
There were some others out there, but just to hot to stay out any longer. Also the wrong time of day for photos, way to intense light.

... Story that led to the name?

Maybe I used it incorrectly ...
It is defined as "a history or background created for a fictional character in a motion picture or television program."

Since this is not a fictional semp nor a movie or TV program I should not have used it that way.

Now you know the rest of the story HA!

It would sure be wonderful if all of you could come to the Hybridizing Clinic next spring.
What a great time we would have. Hurray!

The link to the thread is in the information box on the right side of the Sempervivum Home Page. Always handy.

'Rita Jane' is a relative of Sandy MacPherson's, might be a daughter or grand-daughter, as is 'Laura Lee'.

Speaking of Sandy, the Sedum 'Sandy's Silver Crest' is magnificent in my yard right now. Blue-green with prominent white tips on many branches, some tinted pink. I have been self-pollinating the flowers to see if I can't figure out the genetics and/ or get some further cool variations. Helen named the plant but it was a sport found in Sandy's garden. The crest seem to occur independently of the white tips, although some times you do get both. Has your plant taken off Lynn?

My computer is working, bit weirdly. Some images are huge and some are tiny. No rhyme or reason. Luckily i'm back to a Mac next. They do a better job with images and iPhoto is a wonderful program. Hopefully I'll get all the info off before any crashes. So much for my weekend!!

Kevin

Yes, the 'Sandy's Siver Crest' has taken off, and doing quite well. As you can see from this photo it is starting to show some of the pink coloration. I am in love with this sedum.

I seem to have another sedum doing the same thing, only in different colors. I'll see if I can get some photos. It is a seedling of S. 'Silver Stone'.
