Linda what is the size of the pot you have your clematis in? I just got 2 new ones and need to pot them up. When I received them one had 2 blooms on it. I ordered them from Simply Clems and they look very healthy. Can't wait to see the blooms on them
Your clematis is very pretty. Hope you have more flowers to show us

Thank you Janice for the comment!

Veronica I just went out and measured the pot. It is about 15 inches square and 14 inches deep. I use miracle gro potting soil and keep a mulch of shredded wood bark on the soil as they like their roots shaded.

Forgot to ask how long has the clematis been in the pot.

Veronica the clematis was purchased Sept. of 2006. I think it has been in that same pot, that I transplanted into , since that day. This is a smaller variety of clematis that does well in pots. I do not know how others will do. I am a beginner on these!! Rolling my eyes.

Thanks everyone. Dawn I think you will really like the Cezanne. I am posting a more recent picture. Mine has been covered with blooms now for a couple months . It is finally starting to fad out.
