Lonicera is an interesting group. Berries, lots of new varieties out there. Have you done euphorias? Tons of cultivars for that as well.

Oh definitely a veggies week!!!I really want veggies week.

Wildflowers week, Vines and climbers week. Of course a Daylily week and a Roses week and a Bulbs week.

I would love to see a complete week dedicated to annuals, just guess you need to drum up some support for that one.

How about something different like a gardening for the critters week? You know, using plants to attract birds, hummers, bees and butterflies. Or something on drawing in the backyard songbirds by feeding them and providing nesting and cover and water.

Trish, do you have a list of features weeks for past years, so we can try to come up with new ideas? I wasn't able to quickly find that, but perhaps was not looking in the right spot.

Salvias, Dahlias, and Phlox are popular plants. I'd also like to see some broad categories, such as Shade Gardening and Groundcover Plants.

Adeniums aka Desert Roses, they would be a houseplant where you are Rita.

Zuzu, I think Shade Gardening is an excellent idea! I can't grow a Dahlia for beans so I guess a Dahlia week would only make me drool over other peoples lovely plants!

We seem to have a lot of Echinacea addicts here as well. If there aren't enough of those, however, maybe we could have a more general "daisy" week, which would also include Leucanthemum and some others.

Pond plants, I think there are lots that are rather unknown (or perhaps unsung) marginals. Native plants. Herbs, which is rather broad, but you could limit to medicinal or culinary to narrow it.

Yes, I second Daisey Week. That way coneflowers and all daisy shaped flowers could be covered. Excellent idea!

Would anyone be interested in Hibiscus Week? I just started getting into those and there are so many types to choose from: Hardy, Tropical (including the newer Cajun series), the wild marsh land, Tea-type, etc. as well as annual vs perennial types.

I would also like to see medicinal plants covered but would you need to do a disclaimer?

I try to be cautious when putting information into the database regarding medicinal claims, usually by prefacing with 'may be helpful' or 'may be used' - but a general disclaimer would likely be in order if we went with this as a featured week.

With medicinal herbs, so many people take prescription medications and I know there are medicinal herbs that should not be used in conjunctions with certain medications. Can't think of an example right now but there are plenty out there.
