Can I cut a CC stem with a bloom on it, to be sure I get right color to a friend???? Then I can remove the bloom? Will it go ahead and make roots????
I have two colors in same container and want to be sure I get the right color for my friend...
Charleen, you certainly can take a cutting with a bloom. It won't hurt at all, the cutting will still root. You can either remove the flower or let it fade and then snip it off ... the cutting should still produce roots.

The points at the edge of the leaves indicate it's a TC, not a CC. Forgot to ask, what's the other color in the pot? The open blooms are a very pretty color!
