This forum will be for our crosses as they bloom.I will go through periodically and delete most of the chat and keep the pictures and growers comments.I hope that over time this can be a resource for others attempting new crosses.

This one is Grandeur x Benfica. It bloomed in less than 18 months and has several of it's pod sisters close behind. We will be able to see the differences as they bloom.

This is Grandeur x Benfica #2.It is similar to #1 but not exactly like it.This one has more of Grandeurs' shape.

This is what makes growing from seed worthwhile. This was a seed from Liz Fichtl
(Gordo)I planted it 3-18-08.The cross is Rio Negro x Misty. This one is a keeper for me.

Here is one of the latest to open. The cross is from one of Liz Fichtls seed.
Lemon Lime x Supreme Garden. It looks a lot like one of the species.Cute but not a keeper for me.

Here are some shots of Papilio x Night Star.So far,all of this cross have been very good.I'm not sure if this is my cross or possibly a seed from Maria Mancini.Whichever of us did the cross,it is a keeper.

Those crosses are all very pretty. I especially like Rio Negro x Misty for its beautiful coloration and Pap x Night Star for its Pap shape and color. Hope to see more in the future. Smiling

JT,

I have a few seedlings of Sydney x Benfica that are in their second year. One is very vigorous and I hope it will bloom in such a short period of time just like your Grandeur x Benfica.

I really love that Rio Negro x Misty. My Misty is done blooming but next season will dab her pollen on the cybisters I have.
