I hope ya'll don't mind if I put in this random chat so we don't have to create a new thread each time posting something new!
Here is my new Aloe variegata "Partridge breast aloe" I didn't realize there were bloom stalks on it when I got it a couple weeks ago! Hurray!

Thanks Kristi, I saw it at a nursery and just couldn't resist! I had seen people talking about this aloe on here, but didn't realize how big and fat they are in person! This is in a 10inch pot - so it is a fatty!!!! The bloom stalks are huge and the timing for me here in Seattle is perfect, because I'll be putting it outside in another couple of weeks!!
I'll take photos as the blooms are opening!
I tip my hat to you.

I had three of those.... the bunnies ate two, strangely enough. Supposedly the aloes are too bitter for them, but noooo-ooo...

Cute one Greg.
I thought I had one of these, but I guess not. It's here in my office (at work) and mine is at least 30-40 cm tall, maybe the low light is to blame??? I still think mine is a different Aloe.
I also have a cute small Aloe just about in the same stage of blooming like yours.
Should we compare?
LOL

This one is only about 20cm but each part is really thick!! These blooms are going to be amazing! I hadn't ever seen an aloe like this - I'd heard people boasting about theirs but never saw in person until now! Oh wow nodding

They are impressive, Greg; I'm not an aloe fan but that one is so thick (in a nice way) and the coloring reminds me of Sansevieria and Gasteria colorings which are such rich green tones.

As soon as I saw it I knew I needed to bring it home, I kept dancing around the table that it was on, and Springcolor was trying to ignore me..."Should I get it? Should I get it?" haha Thumbs up And that was when I had no idea there were bloom stalks on it! Hurray!

Nice aloe Greg I saw 2 aloes that looked like that or similar at a local Walmart. I didn't get one because I'm On a very tight budget this month. Well I already spent money on seeds this month. And because I didn't have space on my plant stand for it.
When the past is forgotten it is destined to be repeated.

Yes, I was wondering about how populated your plant stand must be getting with all the propagation you've been doing Adam, @adamgreen

Adam your seedlings are very inspirational...I may attempt something from seed this year...I'm trying to get less on the tender succulents and more on the ones I can leave outdoors, so maybe they'll be alpine succulents that I try growing from seed. Watching your success has been fun!! Thank you! Thumbs up

Tarev yes they are all totally up but I thought they would open more...I'll take a photo tomorrow. The blossoms are very long, closed up tubes...not all that impressive! (in my opinion) so didn't post *Blush*
